The Hamilton

“My mom loved her home at the Hamilton. When she became ill, with help of family and hospice, she was able to stay in her home until she passed away. The resident manager became a very special friend to Mom, and she was a big reason Mom loved her home so much. Our entire family became close to many of the residents. It is wonderful how they all care about one another. I am so thankful that she spent eight wonderful years there.”

“We moved here when the Hamilton first opened nine years ago.  It’s just down the street from our former home and the church we attend. The residents are very friendly.  The first year we were here, my sister died and we traveled to Brainerd for the funeral on one of the stormiest days of the year.  When we returned, we were met by one of the residents who invited us for potluck, as they were having their monthly gathering.  It was so welcomed after a sad and tedious day on the road. The building is kept very clean and the management works diligently to please us all.”
